It’s been awhile for an update, but thats only because it was hard to get time on the internet since we got here.  Its been pretty busy with driving around looking for good deals on clothes, and eatting!

Wow there has been alot of eatting!  We have gone out for food every day/night and there is always alot of great food.  I was able to get some clothes yesterday, and I’m pretty happy with the deals!  With the exchange I got a pretty sweet sweater for around $10.

The trip from Toronto to Detroit was uneventful, butI have to double check the timeline, but I think that we were pretty luck and we were out of detroit before we were aware of anything bad happening.

The rest of the flight(s) were pretty easy going and just long and we didn’t know about the bombings until we woke up in Hong Kong and watched the british news!  WOW what a shock.

We arrived in Tokyo just in time for sunset and I swear that was the last time I saw the sun… and that was almost a week ago.  Yesterday we had a good warm day (still no direct sun) but I swear I saw it try to poke out of the clouds!

The time change was really hard for the first day or 2 but now it is getting better.
