Linux: How to backup Google Chrome

I use Ubuntu 10.04, and recently I’ve had some computer problems. It took me a while to find where Google Chrome installs in Linux. Chrome doesn’t install to the Users Home folder like other programs, rather it installs to “~/.config/google-chrome”.

How To: Backup and Restore Thunderbird

I use Thunderbird for all of my email. Its easy to backup and move to another computer, and I love the anti-spam option.  In the past I’ve been able to backup and move Thunderbird from Linux to Linux and also Windows to Linux. I used these steps to get up and running quickly.

How To: Remove Header From First Page in OpenOffice

Create a header as your normally would; usually this is by clicking Insert -> Header -> Default and then Insert -> Fields -> Page Number. You should see your header on all pages of your document, including the first page.
