Some of us Linux users still remember the wonderful games that we used to run under DOS. For me the two games that really stand out are Syndicate and X-Com. I found that if I wanted to enjoy these games again, you can buy them (and many other games) from Direct2Drive or GOG, but then you have to use either WINE or a DOS emulator to run them. You can try WINE first, but I found that using DOSBox is by far the best way to run DOS programs. I found DOSBox very easy to setup and wanted to share how I was able to set it up.
I’ve been playing Call of Duty online with friends since it was released, and one thing has always bugged me about online play. Sometimes when someones shooting at me I seem to die even when I run behind cover. I thought that it was something with just me, but this video by WhaleMasher explains what is really happening!
For those not in the know, Saints Row was released in 2006, and is a open world game very similar to GTA4. There are different ways to get respect from your gang to unlock new missions, and when I was playing through the game I found a way to earn respect that first confused, and then angered me!
